At Elite Health & Beauty we use two methods of electrolysis: diathermy and galvanic electrolysis.
Diathermy electrolysis is conducted using a single needle for heat cauterisation and treats each hair follicle individually. This procedure is commonly used for facial hair removal.
Galvanic is conducted using a multiprobe machine where several hairs are treated at once. This method is usually the superior choice for permanent removal of stronger hair types.
On consultation with our experienced and qualified specialist electrologist, your problem will be assessed and you will be advised on the best system.
24 hours after electrolysis treatment we recommend:
- Wash hands before touching the area, avoid scratching or harsh towel drying
- Antiseptic gel is applied (Provided)
- Soap and water is avoided
- Avoiding activities which cause excessive perspiration
- Avoid sun exposure, swimming and heat treatments for a week
